Default Prada Black Deerskin Animalier Tote

Prada Black Deerskin Animalier Tote

By: Tanya

Leave it to Prada to make even jungle animals seem chic. This time it’s the Prada Black Deerskin Animalier Tote, a striking black handbag constructed of rich, supple deerskin. Accented by matte gold-tone hardware, this bag features some seriously brow-raising details. A closer look at the buckle reveals a sharp dragon buckle that somehow looks mysteriously perfect adorning this monster of a bag. A small dragon graces the detachable logo tag, as well. At five pounds, it’s a heavy one indeed, so that’s something to consider as you decide whether or not it’s the purse of your dreams. Another deciding point? The $2160 price tag. Available at Bluefly.

I own this bag and it is magnificent...beautiful leather, incredible detail. It is a bit heavy but good for traveling. A collector bag!

Kitsch dahlink...I may go bankrupt but I'll go out in style! Actually, my husband picks out most of my bags. He has a knack for picking unusual bags. I have a nice collection...one of ALMOST every designer. Too many Chanel, so I'm "branching out". Equal Opportunity handbag buyer...what a way to goooooooooooo!!

Dear Rashania...you may want to try scotchguard. Just spray the fabric, try not to get it on the leather trim. Could tape off the leather part with masking tape...then spray away. A lot of the fabric bags are already treated but it can't hurt. Good for shoes too. Hope this helps.

I'm not a fan of gold chains on bags. I think it's because I'm a silver girl in general. But I think gold chains can cheapen a bag if not done right. This one is solid design-wise, and it's nice to read a glowing endorsement.

I can understand the gold chain part. It is removable. The bag is definately over the top. I'm 5'10" so I wear the chain...the more the merrier. My bag is slightly different, the newer Boston version, but same shape with all the "stuff" on it. I'm saving it as my winter bag. Also got the belt...no chain. Very funky! Now if only Johnny Depp would take me out to dinner...
