Can you imagine spending nearly $500 on a dull canvas bag? Coach seems to think it’s a possibility. The new Coach Penelope Canvas Satchel is a ho-hum snooze of a handbag. It’s got a structured, basic shape that, while very sensible, doesn’t add much personality to an already-dull piece. The color selection is totally drab - though I normally love Coach’s bark and yellow shades, they seem completely lifeless on this unimaginative canvas background. Don’t get me started on the aqua. Somehow even that pretty hue fails to impress. Available at Coach.
