Who needs diamonds? It looks like polka dots are
Louis Vuitton’s best friend, at least this season. The
Corsaire, part of the
Polka Dots Navy collection, is awash in hand-riveted dots on a body of stonewashed linen and canvas. Yes, stonewashed - like those jeans you threw out 20 years ago. It’s slightly tacky here, too, but the hand-creased, grained leather trim almost makes up for the rest of the bag. The trim’s wash is cool and sharp, and it really stands out on this otherwise blah
purse. Unfortunately, the creased-look brass hardware looks artificial and cheap, not like something that belongs on an
LV handbag.
