Somebody needs to tell
Vera Wang to stick to designing bridal gowns - okay, lingerie, fragrance, and ready-to-wear are fine, but absolutely no more
handbags! This
Vera Wang Raffia Drawstring Pouch is the complete antithesis of Wang’s trademark classic, flattering style. It’s ugly (the yellow, black, and beige crocheted raffia seems arbitrary and just plain unappealing), it’s abrasive (who wants to tie a coarse rope around their shoulders?), and it’s so hippie it should be at a Phish concert. Even if you wanted to carry a raffia sack around, you would surely need more support than the drawstring tie provided. Is Vera so sick of wedding dresses that she’s resorted to this?
