Basketweave? More like basketcase. This Etro Basketweave Tote is a big flop in my opinion. The knotted lace detail on the front of the white leather bag looks like a basketball net, and actually blocks part of the gold logo plate. I’m all for deconstructed fashion, but this is just ugly. The laced leather handles are more successful, and the gold rings are a glam touch. That’s about the only good thing I can say about this tote, which is one of the smallest “totes” I’ve ever seen. This is definitely a case of less is more.

I'm not quite sure I like that either. I tend to dislike white (get's dirty too quickly), and that lacing in the front doesn't do a thing for me. With my luck, I'd get it caught on something and it would tear anyways.

I agree, I think that basketweave design could snag on a lot of things.
