This ornate Oscar de la Renta Satin Clutch may be conventionally beautiful, but there’s something a little uninspired and, frankly, out of touch about it. An older woman could easily get away with the dressy-dressy clutch (available in black or nude), but younger fashionistas can do better than the elaborate, questionable clear crystal brooch the bag sports. It’s certainly not hip or cutting-edge, that’s for sure. This semi-garish embellishment would have been better left to the Bob Mackie “Dynasty” gowns from whence it came. $795 at Neimanmarcus.com
