It typically takes some doing to get me interested in a canvas bag, but I barely had to look twice before falling for this fabulous Miu Miu bag. The Canvas Hobo is new for summer, and it’s just in time. If walking around with heavy leather isn’t part of your game plan, consider this utilitarian-chic purse. It’s similar in design to Miu Miu’s fabulous attention-getting bags, but it’s got a bit of a rugged thing going for it that the more glamorous pieces lack. The laid-back vibe of the distressed canvas is nicely balanced by shiny gold hardware, calf leather accents and a discreet little Miu Miu logo on the back. Toss everything in and go - it’s perfect. OK..I DO like this bag...but it's too big for me...I don't like to carry too big of a bag in the hot weather...AND..that clasp to get into the bag would irritate me .. So I like the look, but there are design flaws so I wouldn't purchase..I DID click on the link though, to find out more about this bag..THAT's how much I liked the look of it....Miu Miu IMO is really stepping up..no surpirse as Prada has really hit it w/ the gauffre line...I ordered the Miu Miu bow satchel a few months ago but sent it back b/c I wasn't a 'bows' person..EVERYTHING about that bag wast great...It was an off white color...I have pics if anyone wants them...I was impressed w/ the leather and everything...BUT..sent it back..and bought the Prada gauffre satchel lol!!!! OK sorry off topic...must be in a typing mood today!!!..Actually I don't feel like working yet!!!

I really like this bag! I guess I'm into the utilitarian look. Plus I really like the top handle and strap. But I don't think I'd pay that much for just canvas.

As for the buckle, Emmy's got a good point. On my chloe paddy (med. front pocket) the padlock sits on top and to get inside the bag, I have to move the padlock. But overall I'm enjoying my paddy because of the luxurious leather and details and color (chocolate). I do wish it had a shoulder strap...
