The devil is in the details, as this little Bottega Veneta purse so ably proves. The Tartan Tris Satchel is a little more striking than the usual Bottega Veneta bag - it’s done up in a warm brick shade, accented by grommets galore and interwoven with brown leather. The grained leather is just perfect in its slightly textured feel, and the fold-over sides add a nice shape to what would be an otherwise completely boxy silhouette. It’s not my favorite Bottega Veneta design - it’s a bit more appropriate for autumn, and the colors are too warm to suit me - but there’s no denying that it’s beautifully crafted.
