I’m all for “handbags as art,” but this Lulu Guinness Hotel Large Edith handbag is just plain silly. The white canvas bucket bag with cool green trim is printed with the image of a Plaza-like hotel, and it all comes off as a bit “children’s bedtime story.” Is anyone else reminded of Eloise? Save the illustrations for artists, Lulu, and stick to making handbags that a woman can actually carry without cringing. £195 at Luluguinness.com
