Default Balenciaga The Weekender

Balenciaga The Weekender

By: Tanya

Need to add a little spark to your accessories closet? Grab The Weekender and make it happen. This hefty Balenciaga bag is bold and enigmatic, an eye-catching piece that will have heads swiveling faster than you can say Cristobal Balenciaga. And you can trust Balenciaga to offer a weekend bag as timeless as this one in a hue that’s vivid and unforgettable. The color is called Burnt, and it’s a standout that will shine for miles, especially when paired with more subdued shades - it’s fabulous with grays and whites in particular. So roomy you’ll probably have trouble ever filling it to capacity (remember that it’s heavy on its own, too!), The Weekender is the functional, uber-stylish bag every woman would love to own. Available for around $1115 at Diabro.

Just curious - what is it about Bbags don't you like? There are lot of diehard lovers of how the leather feels and looks, then there are those who really dislike them. I'm on the fence about them. I saw a woman in Little Italy (NYC) carrying a bbag in aquamarine and she looked incredible... then there was one carrying a black one and it wasn't thrilling.

btw - I do like the red bag you did get

The quality and feel of Balenciaga leathers are incomparable. No designer bag comes close to matching it. The look of the leather varies from year to year, but the feel (especially over the course of time) is to die for. I recommend a starter B bag in a bold color. The leather truly stands out with them. If you're on the fence about these, don't be. I have bags from several major designers and Balenciaga, by far, is the best investment for the long haul. Here are a few of my "Firsts". The Apple Green is my favorite, but the Grenat and White Pearl have equally supple leathers.

Hi Senora Cartera! I've been searching far and wide for a grenat bbag! I found a Mid-Afternoon, but I prefer a First. Where can I find one?

Am I the only one who prefers long straps? Or is it because I have kids and need my hands free?
