Never one to turn my nose at something a little unusual, I was drawn to this Purple Goat Leather Shoulder Bag by Balenciaga. It’s not slick or sexy like the designer’s other offerings, but it still balances an edginess that’s offset by plush, cozy lavender-hued suede. Obviously, you need to love a little purple to rock this purse with confidence. Slight hints of silver hardware give it an almost utilitarian look as it blends with the shoulder straps. It’s an interesting piece, but probably not worth the $900 for something that would require a bit more effort in the outfit-matching department. Available at Overstock.
