Tod’s Kate Bauletto Piccola Handbag

Though there’s no doubt Tod’s can churn out some mean handbags, I’m not loving the Kate Bauletto Piccola (despite its fun-to-pronounce name). This bulky bag is squat and fat, and it looks more suited to travel or perhaps storing a camera than toting to the office or on an errand run. The gleaming metallic color, called Camello Alce, is gorgeous, and little details like the silver metal logo plaque and front pocket do their best to give this an everyday-purse type of personality, but it doesn’t really work. Carrying something this wide and plump doesn’t seem appealing. Available for $695 at eLuxury.
