Trust Burberry to make nylon look totally chic. Surprisingly, I like the new Dome Satchel from the Pre-Fall ‘07 collection. It’s got a clean, striking silhouette led by a rich chocolate color and rich leather trim in a slightly darker hue. It’s slightly boxy in shape, with short handles making it a dainty, ladylike little handbag. It’s a great addition to a classic dress or smart suit, but this purse wouldn’t look entirely out of place with jeans and a nice top, either. Nylon is certainly a casual material, but here it looks luxurious and pulled together. Available to pre-order for $995 at Nordstrom.
