According to the folks at Chanel, carrying one of their handbags will put you "in a whole new stratosphere." I tend to disagree, unless they're talking about the stratosphere of insanity - you know, the place where you spend $1596 on tote bags. This plain Chanel Ivory Perforated Leather Grand Shopping Tote version is constructed of leather and features a mess of perforated Chanel symbols and "5" logos. The only part of this bag I sort of like is the cute little silver Chanel charm. But perforated leather just isn't my thing, and I'm not a big logo-flasher. Available at bluefly.com.

Although this bag may be of a good quality, I wouldn't waste my $1596 dollars buying only a tote bag. I'll leave the perforated thing with the papers in the office together with my dot matrix printer.
