Moschino Cheap and Chic Python Frame Purse

There should be some kind of law against carrying handbags that resemble Christmas decorations. Moschino Cheap and Chic is usually, well, quite chic, but the Python Frame Bag finds the brand taking a walk on the cheesy side (at least they’re sticking with the “ch” thing, eh?). There’s simply nothing good about a snakeskin bag adorned with an enormous, floppy grosgrain bow. It’s an immature detail that doesn’t balance well with the shocking python (which is admittedly gorgeous in rich bronze), and the kiss-lock closure is an equally poor choice. It’s sort of like a little girl’s purse gone very, very bad. Available for $540 at Bloomingdale’s.

Bows went out in the 80's and should remain out. Take the bow away and I might like it.

I loooooove this, bow and all, despite the review. Something about it just tickles me! I enjoy elements in stark contrast, like the material and the bow.
