Miu Miu certainly is playing the ruched bag thing up this season. Just when you thought you’d seen the last of uber-textured, heavily crinkled leather, in comes the Ruched Shopping Bag. It’s not much in the name department, but the purse itself is fairly attractive. The deep chocolate hue is ideal for autumn, and the suede material looks extra plush and cozy. You can’t lose with an updated classic like this, but I’m personally starting to lose interest in the ruched material craze. Let’s hope next year sees something a little different. Available for around $610 at Diabro.

Haha--very funny! It does have that look. I wouldn't want to carry this around because it's weird for my taste (and I don't like gold fittings if I can avoid them) but I can kinda see what they were aiming for.
