Is there such a thing as too functional? Bags like Took Media Handbag by Tod’s are a prime example. It’s very well-made, boasting textured leather in a smart (if somewhat sedate) camel color. Laden with pockets, this bag offers plenty of room for the most enthusiastic of heavy packers - it’s easily the ideal choice for anyone who collects receipts, gum wrappers and makeup without a second thought. On the downside, it’s just not very attractive. The mismatched sizes of the exterior pockets lends the bag an off-kilter look, leaving behind nothing but blandness. Available for $1550 at Saks.
