Default Burberry Jermyn Tote

Burberry Jermyn Tote

Reviewed by Tanya
What’s in a name? Burberry defines London luxury, so it’s only fitting that its Prorsum line is the ultimate in high style. Designed by Burberry’s design director, Christopher Bailey, Prorsum (which means “forward” in Latin) is the fashion house’s ready-to-wear line of clothing, accessories and shoes. Among them is the fabulous Jermyn, a leather tote named after the famed street in London known for its designer menswear.
As designs go, this Burberry Jermyn Tote is not particularly unique, but the tote offers outstanding craftsmanship, classic black and tan color selections and a timeless versatility that makes it more than a worthwhile investment. A gathered top makes this a convenient choice for errand-running - it’s easy to reach in and grab what you need without digging around and fiddling with heavy zippers. Golden buckle hardware accentuates the handles and base of the bag, and its soft leather exterior is just the kind of touchable material any woman will love to swing on her shoulder. Available for $1595 at neimanmarcus.com.

What do you think of this Burberry tote?

It's unexpected, but I actually like this Burberry Jermyn Tote. The supple brown leather, gathering on top, and gold buckles all create a versatile, hip bag.
