Ruffles are extraordinarily hard to pull off, and this Isabella Fiore French Twist Austin Frame Bag fails with a giant thud. Available in black or boring beige soft tumbled lambskin, the purse resembles some intestines you might see on “CSI.” There’s no refinement, just lots and lots of extravagant ruffles. The front of the handbag isn’t much more appealing, featuring braided leather details. It’s just unsightly, and tries too hard to be feminine.

Agreed, yuck. Looks like a pillow, or at the right angle, female reproductive organs, which maybe is what you meant by "feminine". Wouldn't mind sleeping on it, though, looks soft.

Hmmm . . . this purse is sooo gorgeous with beautiful unique craftsmanship & soft, soft lambskin leather. Flirty, feminine without being frilly - I think the viewers haven't experienced it in person. It's not in the stores yet but I was lucky to see it at a show.
