Fall’s gray trend is in full swing, showing up on everything from chunky sweaters to
exotic handbags.
Yves Saint Laurent’s Ostrich Purse is a prime example of the color in one of its more drab states. Call me crazy, but I don’t find gray all that exciting to begin with. Here, though, it’s as dull as it can possibly be. That’s saying something, considering this hobo is constructed of that luxe, highly coveted ostrich skin. It’s a beautiful material, but it typically looks best in bright, radiant hues. The odd gold horn-shaped handle comes completely out of left field, and it doesn’t suit the
handbag’s design or its color at all.
