It’s really no secret that
Balenciaga has this tried-and-true formula they tend to stick to. Hey, I’d do the same if the likes of
Nicole Richie and
Christina Aguilera were my biggest fans. When the brand does stray a bit, though, it’s usually off in a completely different direction. That’s not the case with the new
Balenciaga 2 Tone Suede Satchel, which seems to borrow elements from the classic motorcycle bag and pair them with more luxurious, stately details (like the dreamy combination of red suede and brown leather). It’s an interesting
purse, but that pocket nearly kills it for me - it reminds me a bit of the front pocket of a pair of overalls. It would take some convincing to get me to carry this.
