I understand that its impracticality probably trumps the fact that it’s heinously pretty (if somewhat gaudy), but Judith Leiber’s Butterfly Celestrina Clutch is easily one of the most attractive pieces I’ve seen in a while. Granted, it’s really just that - more of a showpiece than a purse, much better suited to a corner shelf where passersby could stop and admire it. At the same time, I’d love to wear this with a black dress to a glitzy event. Doesn’t it just seem like it was made for that? It’s priced for that, too, at a steep $5,995. It seems like it was designed with the girliest of girly-girls in mind. Pre-order it from Neiman Marcus and have it by the end of the month.
