Though metallics are always pretty hot, they’re starting to wear a bit thin. I’m personally looking forward to the day when we can say adios to these glitzy accessories, even if it’s just temporarily. I can thank
Dolce and Gabbana for this: The boys are back with their
Ayers Metallic Dome Bag, and it’s one of the most hefty, impractical
purses I’ve seen in ages. Sure, it’s gorgeous, but a
purse that size usually suggests great functionality - and I’d be inclined to want to carry it
everywhere. This, though, is awash in striking pewter, a less versatile color. It would probably be nicer in a down-to-earth neutral shade.
