Cole Haan has really surprised me lately. The line’s newest batch of purses is impeccably stylish - a far cry from many of its past designs, and infinitely more attractive and feminine. High on my list is the lovely Village Soft Frame Bag. In a variation of fall’s trendy gray, this ultra-soft purse is just a bit casual with its slouchy leather, but equally ladylike with its smart frame top and overall elegant demeanor. It’s not over-the-top dressy, but it adds a surprising pop of sharp color to an all black ensemble. Available for $250 at Saks.
