But what I really get from this Marc by Marc Jacobs Lovely Luz purse is “simple,” “minimal,” and “safe.” This medium-sized, square-shaped handbag, with its smooth canvas white leather, puckered details, silver hardware, and sturdy shoulder strap is cute and harmless enough. It’s a bag that works with almost anything you wear, fits everything you need, and goes nearly any place you need to go. But is it memorable, or cutting-edge? Not really. If you want a purse with a lot of mileage, you’ve found it. If you want a purse that’s going to impress, keep looking.
