I’ve never been a huge fan of ostrich purses, as they generally look a little too outdoorsy and, well, Crocodile Dundee-ish. But this Miu Miu Ostrich Shopper is an example of how the material can be used to create sophisticated and urban purses. I love the elegant nude color (pair it with matching nude heels - tres chic!) and the front flap with gold hardware. The handbag also comes with a shoulder strap and handles, making it versatile enough for everyday errands. The dimpled texture is unique and appealing as well. With a bag like this, you definitely won’t need to stick your head in the sand.

I don't think it's ugly, but I'm not crazy about the color. I still don't think I could deal with ostrich skin for a purse.
