Hello Kitty? At first, this sounded very gimmicky, like one of the over-the-top collaborations that Target or H&M likes to over-promote. Plus, I had recently viewed hideous wedding photos in Asia that makes the phrase “Hello Kitty Overkill” an understatement . Needless to say, I was skeptical. However, when I saw the sophisticated, limited edition satchel, I was pleasantly surprised. The glazed expresso leather was truly a fine Italian quality. No oversized charms, but a whimsical, brightly colored Hello Kitty motif print lined the interior, and chic, subtle engraved face logo hardware. This is a childhood brand favorite, re-made and upgraded for the very fashionable grown-up.
