The Dior Babe Satchel is made of the oh-so-softest leather you will ever feel. Unfortunately it’s as delicate as it is soft, so this handbag is not for the working girl. It scratches with the lightest touch, and even the display bag shows significant handling. Something this precious doesn’t transfer to everyday life, so I suggest this bag only if you live the privileged lifestyle that never allows your purse to touch anything. The circular handle shape is also a little too modern for my taste, but I can see it playing out well with a tailored black skirt suit or a crisp button-up and slim trousers.
