I’m of two minds when I stare at this unusual
Marni Patent 2-Way Work Bag. At first glance, it’s sort of unusually attractive with its shiny leather and uncommon caramel brown color. Its softly rounded shape is also a bit unusual, but not so bad at all. What
is bad? The unusual resin accents aren’t pretty - they lend the
purse a dressed-down look that doesn’t fit the generally fancy-schmancy feel of patent leather. And what’s with the heavy, messenger bag-inspired shoulder strap? Though it seems to work at first, it slowly takes on a whole other personality - one that I don’t think I like!
