I was never a huge fan of the
Marc Jacobs Venetia handbag until I saw it on a fabulous gal in the Atlanta airport. She was wearing a simple black headband, black turtleneck, Seven jeans, and boots, and had the great
bag swinging from her elbow as she waltzed through the busy airport last holiday season. Never had I seen the Venetia look so incredibly hip and effortless. I’d always thought of it as a grown-up bag, making me think twice before making a purchase. But on the lucky bag lady, it looked completely modern! Now the quilted fabric version gives a bit of depth to the classic bag, and I love the contrasting ostrich trim.
