I’ve had a couple of weeks to look over the
YSL Resort 2008 looks, and in that time, the
YSL Capri Hobo has really grown on me. This
handbag perfectly captures the resort vibe — simple, relaxed, stark in its sophistication. The version being offered by
Neiman Marcus at $1,595 comes in white, which I prefer, and black. The
purse is soft and pliant and the rich, gold hardware is a wonderful contrast to the buttery leather. The generous strap is the perfect drop length, allowing the chic owner of the bag to carelessly sling the Capri over her shoulder and make her way through the limestoned streets of an untold old european village.
