There’s good patent leather and bad. The good stuff is sexy and sharp, with a knack for making a powerful statement. The bad…well, it looks like this. Betsey Johnson definitely hits a sour note with her Lock It Up Tote Bag, which looks like it has a piece of cardboard inside keeping it sturdy. Did I mention the plastic-like shine? The heart-shaped padlock is a cheesy detail that somehow fits right in with the four exterior pockets (which probably won’t hold much, anyway). Over-the-top and impractical, the Lock It Up tote really needs to be locked up. Be sure to throw away the key. Available for $375 at Nordstrom.

I normally would go ga ga over almost every patent leather handbag,but this bag looks cheap.I cannot put my finger on the reason,but the lock doesn't help much either.Nope,don't care for this one.I guess I have never really been a real admirer of Betsey Johnson's.
