Practically unrecognizable as a Nancy Gonzalez design at first glance, the Whipsnake Boxed Clutch is surprisingly a bit of a bore. Normally I’m pretty enthusiastic about Gonzalez’s exotic, glamorous handbags all done up in their rich skins. This is clearly well made; it’s evident in the intricate stitching and smooth interior, but it’s not exactly up to par with what we’ve all come to expect from Gonzalez. Considering there are so many enticing clutches to carry on a big night out, this silver and black piece fails to impress. Available to pre-order for $695 at Saks.
