Bottega Veneta’s Spotted Print Zip Top Tote is quite representative of the different looks the line is rolling out in time for spring. Forget the obvious lack of woven leather (though it’s there, in fine form, on the handles); the animal-inspired print here is definitely unexpected. It seems to take its cue from safari-chic styles that never quite translate well into everyday wardrobes, nor is it nearly as adventurous as typical animal prints tend to be. It’s made to carry anywhere and everywhere, though, with its detachable shoulder strap and substantial shape. As a longtime Bottega fan, I’m not particularly excited about this one. Available for $4300 at Bottega Veneta.
