Yes, MCM is back. When I walked into Bloomingdales I had to stop and take a double look. I thought someone might be playing a cruel joke or maybe I was in a time-warp from the 80’s but yes, MCM is back. Within the classic design of MCM there are totally new innovations like the Patent Shopper which looks nothing like classic MCM. My friend joked at my amazement then told me to come on before someone saw me looking at the handbags but honestly I don’t think that all of the new collection is gaudy. Personally, I would carry the Patent Shopper, it’s large (just how I like them) and has lots of classy pockets. The shopper retails for a lofty $1395 at Bloomingdales, but in ten years this bag won’t date your warerobe.
