Default 3.1 Phillip Lim Shoulder Tote

3.1 Phillip Lim Shoulder Tote

By: Crystal

These new handbags by one of my favorite designers left me expecting a little more from Phillip Lim, who was called a star of fashion week. This burnt orange suede shoulder tote is roomy and has a great shape for everyday use or a weekend getaway but resembles something in an L.L. Bean or J. Crew catalog for much less. Unfortunately this tote is just too plain for me, making it rate about a 3.1 on my 10 point scale….I’m sorry Phillip Lim I’m usually a fan! It can be seen or purchased at pinkmascara .com and retails for $593.00

Default Givenchy Studded Shopper

Givenchy Studded Shopper

No, just no. Sorry. Just because you have a bedazzler and a well known brand does not make throwing studs willy nilly on soft leather right or fashionable! The result is very wrong. In fact, it is so wrong, that despite my desire to only write about those bags that would make me pick up the phone and call a girlfriend about my latest “WOW” moment, I had to pause and write how disappointed I am by this bedazzled mess. However, if your six year old has not bedazzled enough presents for you courtesy of his/her first grade class just stop into Barneys and you can treat yourself to this soft leather abomination for only $1995. The Givenchy Studded Shopper is available at Barneys for $1,995

Too large and plain.

I also don't like the material.
