While in search of a great everyday carryall, I came across this Marc Jacobs Rihanna Bag. Despite its seemingly neutral color, the effect of the silver spray paint finish over clay suede is beautiful up close. The half-circle handles and sturdy turnlock closure are done in pewter, which is not very Jacobs-esque. It’s a nice surprise and I’m convinced that MJ should use it more often - it lends the bag such a sturdy, smart and pulled together look. That’s further exemplified by the handbag’s substantial size and edgy shape. It’s something I can carry everyday without fail, and that makes it worth the $2,470 price tag. Available at MyTheresa.
