For whatever reason, this Versace Logo Plate Shopper is pulling at me. It’s available for pre-order at nordstrom.com and retails for $2,160 (I know! Yikes!). The combination of cool silver paired with an avocado green is just too fresh and unusual; I’m dying to see it in person. In the spring and summer I wear a lot of white (easy, take it to the dry cleaners, wear it, you’re done) to look chic, and I think this handbag would look great with crisp white shorts and tanks on a boat, or with a white suit to meetings. I love this one! It is fresh and simple, just really chic but not so trendy you can only wear it with one ensemble. This bag is a winner!

So.... I went tonight with my daughter to Nordstroms and saw some of the 2009 spring pieces by Versace. Holy Moses in the dessert!!! I almost fainted there were so many gorgeous bags. MAdonna croc is the only one available online, but only seen in coral. I saw it in champagne and there was also a fuschia/magenta ruched tote.... I am still salivating. I wish I had my camera and took some pics!

The sales girl was putting them all on my daughter and gushing saying, "What a perfect little model!" I was shrieking, "Take that off! IT's $5000!!!!!" IT was funny.


Anyway, if you get a chance to pop into Nordies, take a peeksie at the new lovelies, you will be so glad you did!

It looks nice...like it would be perfect for a swanky cruise...althought I'm not sure about it for an every day bag.
