That big, huge, deep sigh of relief you hear is me expressing my joy over Fendi’s newest collection. Don’t get me wrong - this Fendi Chef Hobo isn’t pretty, but it’s a damn sight more attractive than just about anything else I’ve seen from the normally illustrious house in a long time. That’s got to be worth a little attention, right? This is an unusual blend of canvas and bronze-coated blocks. The snakeskin-like quality of the blocks isn’t lost on me, and this might actually be a steal for someone who likes the look of exotic skin but doesn’t want to carry the real deal. The chain link shoulder strap is a nice touch. This is hopefully a small step in the right direction! Available for $760 at Saks.
