It’s hard to believe that the same man who produced
Louis Vuitton’s psychadelic spring handbags also gave this nice but uninspired
Marc by Marc Jacobs Lovely Lily the greenlight. There’s nothing really wrong with the
handbag per se - the smooth grained leather (in black or canvas light), pintucked pleats, the long cyndrical shape are all okay - just okay. This is a moderately stylish everyday
bag. What it’s not is creative, original, memorable, or fashion-forward. You could probably get something similar from the mall for a tenth of the price. I’d rather save my pennies on splurge on a REAL
designer bag.
