I was perusing BlueFly’s handbag section when I came across this Dolce & Gabbana bag and, curious what could possibly be said about this bag, I clicked and read, “Your selective taste has led you here, to Dolce and Gabbana, where you’ll find superior quality and fashion sensibility.” Thanks, BlueFly, for the afternoon chuckle.
This Dolce & Gabbana PVC Double Handle Bag resembles a certain very famous, very expensive French house’s design, except that particular bag is actually pretty and classic. The clear PVC here makes me think of those cheap jelly shoes that we all adored in the 1st grade. The black patent and gold hardware play up the gloss and look-at-me vibe… but not in a good way. I’ll pass, but should you feel the urge to throw $1,380 away on a strip of leather and some clear plastic, BlueFly and Dolce & Gabbana will help you out.
