The latest brilliant idea from
Fendi? DIY
handbags, of course. The famed (although that’s in doubt after this) fashion house has released the
Fendi Artist Baguette to feed our artistic cravings. It might be a good idea given Fendi’s recent offerings, actually - I’ve often said I could do a better job myself. And my wish has been granted with this bizarre kit, which comes with a plain white Fendi baguette and a set of Pantone markers. The idea is to go crazy and design the bag of your dreams. If you are an actual artist with actual talent, this might not be such a horrible idea. You’ll have yourself a one-of-a-kind Fendi bag (similar to some of
these).
If you can’t even draw a stick figure, though, you’ll have some trouble with this. And seriously…$1300 (yep) for markers and a plain white bag is just utter madness. I haven’t done a paint-your-own project since I was a kid and I certainly don’t plan to start now. The crazy Fendi Artist Baguette is
