It takes more than two strips of barely-metallic platinum to call yourself sparkly, Foley and Corinna. While I normally love the brand’s iconic handbags, I’m bored by the Sparkly Lady Satchel. It just doesn’t stand up to its name, which suggests it might be sexy, enigmatic and bold. Nope. If anything, it’s the exact opposite. The east-west shape, dull color scheme and uninspired details make it a real snooze. If I want sparkle, I’ll look elsewhere. Available for $564 at Saks.
