Bags that are so over-the-top snakey really bother me for some reason. The Stylo Python Clutch, courtesy of Carlos Falchi, is an example of rabid snakiness at its worst. Though some would brand this clutch exotic, I see it as somewhat dull. I’d love to play up the rich material with some bold hardware, and maybe minimize the intensity of the python’s presence. The blue color is pretty, although it’s so light and airy that it seems odd on what is presumably supposed to be a bag at the height of elegance. Available for $725 at saks.com.

This Carlos Falchi Stylo Python Clutch is pretty tacky in my book. My main problem is the coloring...it's too pastel and cheesy. The bag would look better if it had used a richer palette.
