The first impression this printed Gucci Wave Large Hobo gave me, certainly wasn’t a wave, as the name indicates. The tonal blue canvas print read ‘toile’, but then you look again, and realize it is a print of large blue bouquets. Simplistic really, almost like a china pattern. As this bag is from Gucci’s upcoming resort collection, I can definitely imagine the chic European woman carrying this on her getaways to the beach, casino or art museum. Sweet, femine, gorgeous. The Italian leather handle has the signature Gucci horsebit hardware detail at the top.

This Gucci Wave Large Hobo is pretty, but it's a little too quaint to be considered chic. It reminds me of an Easter dress.
