Not many can make canvas look as glamorous as
Stella McCartney manages to. The designer, one of my favorites, has a classic on her hands with the new
Ruched Shoulder Bag. Hardly the typical handbag, this ivory carryall features slightly gathered canvas and plenty of lovely gold-tone hardware. The studded handles and chain, which could easily have been overdone, look dressy but not over-the-top. My only question is whether it’s worth it to pay so much for something that isn’t made of leather. Surely a
canvas handbag with hardware isn’t worth so much?
