Though it’s named for the glamorous Avenue Marceau in Paris, the
Marceau Bridget by
Kate Spade doesn’t really reflect seductive French charm very well. This bag is so structured that it comes off as serious, straightlaced and practical. These are all great traits to have in a
handbag, but the prestige of Avenue Marceau calls for something so much more refined, classy and memorable than this. The simple shape and plain design don’t do it justice - it really could have been so much more. Despite this, it does boast beautiful, supple calfskin. Not my favorite choice,
especially for $825 at Nordstrom.com
