Now I know that Anna Corinna and the whole Foley + Corinna gang are all for striking while the iron is hot, but this bag is a big flop. The design is great, and a mainstay in the Corina family, but the City isn’t cutting it in this striped linen fabric handbag. It’s simply too floppy and unstructured. It’s almost like a watered down version of Balenciaga’s Damask handbag, which was released a couple of years ago. This one has light fabric that isn’t cohesive with the leather trim, but does have all of the function of the standard Corina City bag. If that’s enough for you, the bag retails for $345 at josephshoes.com.
