Radiantly bold and so very representative of classic Marc Jacobs, this Party Clutch is instantly recognizable as one of the great designer’s works of art (yes, I’m a fan). Despite that, I’m not a big fan of this purse. Though I love the double pockets and chunky hardware, I’m not crazy about the wide, dark strap. It competes with the bag’s fabulous color and seems to take away from what would otherwise be a very eye-catching piece. I’d probably rather see a rather demure, slinky strap on this, in order to keep the focus on the bag and its fabulous details. Available for $550 at Nordstrom.
