For a guy considered one of the world’s finest couturiers, Balenciaga’s Arena Matelasse Handbag ain’t half bad. In fact, I’m pretty sure Cristobal Balenciaga would be proud of this bag, a stunning addition to the legendary house’s gorgeous handbag selection. Arena Matelasse is quilted and suggests a shape similar to the brand’s famous motorcycle bags - the ones routinely spotted on the arms of young Hollywood’s most well known. It’s nice to see something a little different, though. Arena Matelasse is decidedly less slouchy than the moto bag, and given its structured shape, it also seems more mature in the process.
